Gastro Yard
MOMIK WineCube & Gastro Yard

Stepping into MOMIK WineCube & Gastro Yard feels like entering a sun-drenched sanctuary where ancient Armenian hospitality meets modern viticultural artistry. Nestled right in the middle of lush, terraced organic vineyards in Areni Village, this family-run gastro yard offers travelers an unforgettable immersion into the soul of Vayots Dzor. The highlight of the estate is the striking glass-walled WineCube pavilion—an architectural glass gem surrounded by steep brick-red limestone canyons and endless green grapevines. Inside, guests relax while sipping small-batch, estate-bottled organic wines crafted from ancient native Areni Noir and Voskehat grapes. Beyond the wine, Narine and Nver Ghazaryan treat visitors to a feast of authentic home-cooked Armenian culinary traditions: fresh river trout grilled over grapevine wood embers, succulent khorovats, organic mountain greens, wild herbs, aged goat cheeses, and hot lavash bread freshly baked in the traditional underground clay tonir oven. Guests can also participate in interactive Khachkar (cross-stone) stone carving workshops guided by Nver, making MOMIK a truly rich, soulful, and comprehensive gastro experience.
